Volunteer Opportunity: Join the Glenbrook Cleanup Committee

Our neighborhood pride shows in the little things — tidy islands, clean common areas, and well-kept landscaping. To keep Villages of Glenbrook looking its best while keeping association dues low, we’re asking for volunteers to join a community clean-up effort.

What we need help with

  • Pulling weeds in planting beds and islands

  • Picking up litter in common areas and along walkways

  • Light edging, sweeping, and general tidying to keep spaces welcoming

Who can help

All neighbors are welcome — whatever time you can give is appreciated. Whether you can spare 30 minutes or a few hours, every pair of hands makes a difference. Families, teens needing community service hours, and anyone who enjoys being outdoors are encouraged to join.

Keeping our common areas well-maintained helps preserve property values, creates a nicer environment for everyone, and reduces the need for expensive contracted services. With volunteer support, we can stretch our association budget further and keep dues as low as possible.

What to bring

  • Gloves

  • Sturdy shoes

  • Water bottle

  • Small hand tools (weed puller, trowel, trash grabber) if you have them
We will provide trash bags and basic supplies as available.

When and where

We’re planning regular neighborhood clean-up sessions and will post dates and meeting locations soon. If you’d like to help organize or suggest a good time/place, please let us know.

How to sign up

If you’re interested in volunteering or want more information, please reply with your name, best contact method, and availability. Even if you can only help occasionally, we’d love to put you on the volunteer list.

Let’s see what we can achieve when we all chip in. Together we’ll keep Villages of Glenbrook beautiful for everyone while being mindful of our community budget. Thank you for caring about our neighborhood!
